######### REGISTRATION DETAILS #########

Full Name:
----------
  Älg

System Group Name:
-----------------
  alg

Type:
-----
  Programs

License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later

Description:
------------
Älg aims to manage the entire digital photography treatment workflow, from
the transfer to the storage. It is of interest to both professional
photographers and everyone that stores photos on a computer.

It does not aim to replace any of the excellent softwares that already exist
and perform a single task (exiftool, gqview, gimp, ufraw...) but rather
provide an efficient way to use them.

Among the planned features, there should be rating of photos, sorting using
any available metadata, a powerful directories organization, heavy use of
metadatas, import of any photo directory and much more.

The user interface aims to be as minimal as possible, thus the use of SDL. If
heavy text should be displayed or user input is required, gtk may be used but
it will remain secondary.

As of today, the user interface and the features in version 0.1 have been
carefully planned and decided, and there is a small basis of code for laying
the foundations of the interface.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
  SDL and SDL_image
imagemagick
exiftool
possibly gtk
