Real Estates Management (rem) is a small software written in C# and
published under the GPL license. It is able to store different kinds of real
estate, to calculate the amounts (based on the Swiss rules, but extendable)
and loyers.
The program is divided into several layers. The data layer stores the
business objects in a SqlLite database. The persistence is provided by the
0/R mapper Nhibernate. Nhibernate allows storing objects in different
databases. The business tier contains a business façade which allows
performing query and different operations on business objects.
Unit tests are carried out on all layers with Nunit.
Rem is developed using Visual Studio.Net but must be Mono compatible. A nant
build file allows compiling the project with the mono compiler. During all
the development process, compatibility tests will be executed.
The presentation layer will use GTK# or WinForms, depending on the mono
compatibility.
