Follow-up Comment #2, task #2012 (project admin):

Well I understand your point, there are lots and lots of half-finished sound
editors out there. However, I feel that mhWaveEdit fills a special niche,
it's a bit like the sound equivalent of Nano, really light and simple. Also,
I'm not starting a new editor, I'm developing a program that is already
working and is stable.

This project grew out of frustration trying to do some simple editing on a
Pentium computer back in 2001. I tried 4-5 different programs and none of
them worked for simple editing on slower systems.

I forgot to mention that this project is in the FSF free software directory:
http://directory.fsf.org/audio/wav/editors/mhWaveEdit.html

There were no references to "Linux" at all in the program itself. I read the
docs before registering, but forgot to write GNU/Linux when I wrote the
registration. I'll keep that in mind for the future.
