Description:
------------
Metalog is a system logger, like sysklogd and syslog-ng. It aims at a simple
and powerful config file. Regular expression can be used to sort
logs, as well as priority, facility, or program name.
Log files can be rotated when they exceed a certain size, or age.
External shell scripts (ex: mail) can be launched when specific patterns are
found. There's also a switchable buffer, in order to get maximal performance
in high load environments.
Main code is released under GPL, and it uses bsd-getopt_long.c from NetBSD, as
well as pcre (BSD license) bindings.

(Sourceforge leaving is planned, once everything on gna! will be configured
(main reason: SF doesn't offer arch hosting)).
Project is already in a working form.
