###### ORIGINAL SUBMISSION DETAILS ######

System Group Name:

 mos

Full Name:
----------
 Managed Operating System

Type:

 Programs

License:

Description:
------------
 MOS is a Managed Operating System

It runs on a minimal .NET execution environment which only provides memory
management, threads, scheduling and IRQ handling.

The rest of the system is written in C#. This includes:

- device drivers

- filesystems

- network stacks

The primary target is a TRITON 270 computer (PXA 270 IntelĀ® XScale™
processor) and WILL be ready for July/August (or I will fail my diploma
project). The intention is also to make it run on other architectures.

The EE is composed of DotGNU Portable.NET with a minimal libc (stripped glibc
or uClibc) running on top of the L4Ka::Pistachio microkernel.

If you have questions/ideas, please contact me.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
 DotGNU Portable.NET

L4Ka::Pistachio

Other Comments:
---------------
 Code doesn't exist yet but will be GPL.

Portable.NET is GPL, L4Ka::Pistachio is 2-clause bsd (GPL-compatible), glibc
and uClibc are LGPL.
