# In english :
EBS (Eathryl [1] Based System) is a project of a RPG (Role Play Game)
administration in PHP.
The game is playable online though a web browser. I a long term view it will
be playable with a unique client based on XML data provided by the website.
The system is inspired by games based on “dungeons & dragons” or
“Warhammer” that would say a group of adventurers managed by a game
master. The players would need a few hours to accomplish a quest on an
asynchronous system “turn by turn”.
EBS will provide to all fans of this kind of games the possibility to play on
the Internet without going on a forum.
EBS will accept any kind of D20 game and can be customized for any kind of
game environment (Stories, background, rules, etc.). A brief portal will be
provided to make a quick description of the game.
This project is currently in construction and there isn’t any code
available yet for the public.
This is a non-exhaustive list of the characteristics of EBS. This list will
be updated in order of the progress of the development:
- The management of the game though an administrative interface. To manage it
more efficiently, it’s better to know PHP.
- A game in “turn by turn” based on quests.
- A character page.
* Characteristics (Strength, Endurance, Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom,
Charisma)
* Bonuses through the race, rank, equipped items, enchantments, etc.
* Skills of the character due to his race, rank, etc.
* Spellbook.
- The grouping of the characters to make a quest.
- GM skills [2]:
* Dice throw
* Management of the characters by the GM (The GM is almighty) only in the
quests and a total power of the character page of the group he managed.
- Game interface
* Dice throw
* Discussion space between PC [3] and GM (shoutbox in xmlhttprequest: demo &

* Management of travelling only during quests

[1] The game Eathryl is the origin of the creation of EBS. It’s a complete
project with its own rules and developed by a team with people who can’t
make code. That’s why it will be customised by administrative interfaces.

EBS (Eathryl [1] Based System) est un projet de gestion de RPG en PHP, Le jeu
jouable en ligne grâce à un navigateur; peut-être extensible (dans un futur
lointain) a un client unique basé sur les données XML disponible sur le
site.
Le système ce veut ressembler aux jeux du style Donjon et Dragon ou
Warhammer. C'est à dire un
groupe d'aventurier subissant les perfidies d'un maître de jeu. Système par
tours nécessitant des dizaines d'heures de jeu pour effectuer une quête. A
la base, EBS devait fournir aux fans de ces jeux le moyen d'y jouer sur le
net tout en excluant un forum.
EBS supporterait n'importe quel système de jeu du type D20. EBS serait
paramétrable pour n'importe quel univers (histoire, background, règles). Un
petit portail serait fourni pour une description sommaire du jeu.
Ce projet est en cours de création et à l'heure actuelle aucun code source
n'est disponible au grand public.
Voici une liste des fonctionnalités prévues pour EBS, évidement. Cette
liste n'est pas exhaustive et évoluera par le temps :
- Une gestion du jeu via interface d'administration. Cependant il est
préférable de connaître le PHP pour une meilleure gestion du système.
- Un jeu tours par tours basé sur des quêtes.
- Fiche de personnage.
* Caractéristiques (Force, Constitution, Dextérité, Intelligence,
Sagesse, Charisme)
* Bonus de caractéristiques via la race choisie, la classe choisie, les
objets équipé et enchantement.
* Compétence de personnage grâce a la race et la classe choisie
* Livre de sorts.
- Association de personnages en groupes.
- Outils de MJ [2] :
* Lancé de dé
* Gestion des personnages par les MJ (Le MJ est un Dieu :oD) uniquement
lors des quêtes. Le pouvoir absolu sur la fiche de personnage du groupe
géré.
- Interface de jeu

* Espace d'échange on-line entre PJ [3] et MJ (shoutbox en xmlhttprequest:

* Gestion du déplacement (carte) uniquement lors des quêtes.

[1] Eathryl est a la base de la création d'EBS. En fait c'est un projet de
jeu complet avec son propre
univers et ces propres règles. Faisant équipe avec une personne ne sachant
pas programmer, j'ai du orienter le projet sur un système d'administration
pour le jeu. Ce qui a conduit a créer l'EBS.
