'Kanicule' is a project which tends to be a software for FRENCH
administrations (local authorities) to handle (reporting, analysis,
statistics) summer heat waves that France has encountered since 2005.
It is based on (tries to follow the recommandations of) the 'Plan National
Canicule (PNC) version 2006' released by the french governemnt (see
http://www.sante.gouv.fr/canicule/doc/plan_canicule_2006.pdf for further
details)
This is cross-platform software as it uses the C++ Qt4 open source toolkit
from Trolltech. It is developped and tested both on FreeBSD 6.x IA32 and
Linux Debian ppc. Binaries will be available for Windows and MacOS X too.
I have no URL to the source to provide yet. I would like to import my SVN
tree if the project is accepted. The developpment is still at very early
stage, but I think it will be a great app.
I need MLs, Bug report software, SVN repository, DNS features (?) from
gna.org
