==== Description: ====
CGSL is a C language library extension for GSL, the GNU Scientific Library.
It implements an API to allow the usage of the GSL vector and matrix
functions as a commodity.
The API implements methods of memory allocation and automatic dispatching of
arguments to the correct function for the type of scalar, vector or matrix
argument. The package aims to simplify bindings of GSL to high level dynamic
languages like Lisp.
CGSL embeds the source code of OSSP Ex, a C language exception handling.
The optional usage of this feature allows easier resource management for
temporary computation results.

==== Other Software Required: ====
Requires the GNU infrastructure: C library, C compiler, Bash shell and common
command line tools for the building infrastructure.
Depends upon the GNU Scientific Library

OSSP Ex sources are embedded and untouched. Ex is distributed under a BSD
style licence <http://www.ossp.org/pkg/lib/ex/>. The package includes notices
everywhere to signal that Ex is embedded and to inform about its copyright;
notice the README and the COPYING.ossp-ex files. The CGSL documentation in
Texinfo format as an appendix holding the translation of the original Ex
manual page; in this appendix the full license of Ex is included.
