==== Description: ====
Diagram Drawer is a Free Software for drawing concept maps and flow charts.
I originally wrote it because I was unsatisfied with the programs I found
searching on the internet, and to experiment some maths.
The aim of the project was to provide a simple interface for Windows users,
and to provide a simpler program than, for example, Dia.
Windows users, in my school have been told to use Cmaps, which is freeware
but not Free Software(and is neither going to be Free Software in the
future), and which has some bugs which,of course, the user can't fix, so the
aim of my project now is to provide my schoolmates with a Free Software which
is simple to use, yet powerful, to draw conceptual maps, which are a useful
tool for learning.
I see that having as main target a non-free operating system is not compliant
with your policies, but it has 2 balancements:
a)the software runs on a free operating system with the same functionality as
the version for the non-free operating system(it is the same file indeed)
b)the software has the aim to contribute to make people switch from non-free
to free software
The project was hosted on SourceForge, but I learned that SourceForge is
using non-free software, so I decided to move it here.
I own the copyright on the whole code, because I wrote it all.
My project depends(and works) on mono at the moment, but I'm porting it to
dotGnu as soon as possible.
