==== Description: ====
Especially in art-related domains, where improvisation
is an important part of the activity itself, the excessive
complexity of software tends to really limit the artist's
freedom of expression.

  It is our view that software should be really easy to
use, and done in such a way that when necessary, its users
should be able to redefine it.

  The ART project is meant to be a starting point in this
direction, by means of creating a suite of software tools
aiming at fulfilling the objectives sketched above.

  I do not have any code I would like to show yet, but at
least for the initial release, I will be the sole author.

==== Other Software Required: ====
The program is written in pure ANSI C. It depends on Cairo, Gtk 2.0, and Jack
Audio.
