NITdroid is a kernel and userspace port from scratch of the Google Android
operating system to the Nokia Internet Table (NIT) hardware. It is a software
alternative to the Maemo platform that ships with the devices.
This project is an ongoing effort to make Android usable/useful on NIT
devices (N770 and N8x0_).

This is an active development effort to port Android to the Nokia Internet
Tablets. The development effort has been happening at the given URL since
December 2008, but its just not reasonable to support a software development
effort in a forum thread. We need a formal development environment that
welcomes and supports open source software.
