Besson is a framework that enables the software emulation of
Linux systems for various networking purposes and simulations.
It is currently based on User-Mode Linux and provides easy ways
to maintain, configure, launch and interact with UML-based
virtual Linux systems. It allows interaction with these systems
using a web-based interface. It also allows the automatic setup
and unfolding of simulations.

Besson depends on regular Linux system as it uses UML which is included in
the regular Linux kernel since 2.6.0. It also uses Perl with various CPAN
modules for management purposes.
