==== Description: ====
The objective is to provide a set of files that make it possible to build
internationalized versions of a LiveCD/LiveUSB dedicated to children. The
difference with similar LiveCD projects is that we would like to offer an
interface as simple as possible and, nonetheless, that fits the child age
(from 2 to… say 102?) - I mean interface changes with age. Finally the
system should work like a gaming console rather than like a desktop computer:
click and play! Note that it is not targetting school pupils management at
all.

The LiveCD itself is a “Debian flavour” built using LiveHelper scripts.
It contains classical child-oriented applications like gcompris, childsplay,
tuxpaint, etc. I have no publicly available code yet but I can provide an
archive if required (code weights 4.2Mb). Code contains some tools developed
for the needs and licensed as GPL 3. I also intend to modify some Debian
packages to fit my needs.

Note that in no way we intend to host the resulting LiveCD's on Gna! since
their size may cause difficulties for your infrastructure. Instead we plan to
hire a hosted server with good disk space and bandwidth, so don't worry!
