==== Description: ====
The aim of this project is the creation and maintenance of a semi-total
conversion of Warzone 2100 starting with version 3.0. The primary objective
of that semi-total conversion is the replacement of the balancing and
technology tree of the game (in short: stats) as published by the Warzone
2100 Project with a new one. The new stats are designed to meet the following
criteria:
- reduction of the tech-tree
- no redundant weapons/technologies; no newer technology should make an old
one obsolete
- more pronounced differences between units --> mixed armies necessary
The secondary objective is the use of own/new models which fit better to the
new stats instead of using the pre-existing ones from the Warzone 2100
Project.
There is no source code existent at the moment. The sources will be in a CSV
format. Additionally, documentation is planned to be managed using SVN. A
subdomain of warzone2100.de will serve as a place for the homepage. The
current number of developers for this project is: 2.
