----

==== Description: ====
avrtest is an AVR core simulator that is used to run the avr-gcc test suite.
AVR is a family of 8-bit microcontrollers. avr-gcc is a C-compiler from the
GNU Compiler Collection (GCC).

avrtest is licensed under GPL.

==== Other Software Required: ====
Dependency is gcc to build executables from the C sources.

==== Other Comments: ====
avrtest is mature and expected to be low-traffic and only used by few
developers, yet it is important for avr-gcc quality.

avrtest is currently hostet at
http://winavr.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/winavr/trunk/avrtest/ but I'd like to
host it away from there.

avrtest is written in C and comes with some DejaGNU board descriptions and a
README.
