I still have problems with the way errors are being handled. Looks like the system's or POSIX error codes for errno go from 0 to something around 128, while the errno var is an int that can handle up to 65K different error codes.
My proposition is to map Elektra error codes to POSIX error codes as much as possible in a coherent way, and to use error numbers greater than, say, 1000 for Elektra-specific errors.
