I also am running 10.04 and have test several mice and keyboards only to discover that I am able to regain normal use of the mouse and alt-tab as described by switching the AT setting. I checked and I don't even have the programs referenced from AT installed on my system. Is there something else that could be uninstalled in order to resolve the issue?
