As per the upstream bug, this was fixed in 3.1.2. Lucid is now on
version 3.1.6-dfsg-2ubuntu2.
Trivial repro steps: in System > Preferences > Power Management set the
screen to blank after one minute. Work in Virtualbox for one minute.
Observe whether screen blanks.
