hello Keeping away from maverick, trying to install a reliable lucid-server system. Applied the diff (as per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuPackagingGuide/BuildFromDebdiff?highlight=%28debdiff%29) and the problem remains. At the end of the install the process enters an infinite loop asking for area code [ ]. This is serious.
Going to re-install the entire system again and do not uninstall...
