Same problem here. Dell Studio Notebook with a Synaptics touchpad. Moultitouch works perfectly on windows, but in ubuntu (10.10) it jumps randomly when two fingers are used. Also the problem dissapears if I suspend/resume (but multitouch is still not working). Ah, and the script doesn't work either.
