I got some logs from boonie++ (v1.96) on my external harddrive on a Ubuntu-10.04. All the files are embedded in emeric_01.tar.bz2:
- bonnie_bootedMonday_02.txt (and .html) displays results after a cold poweron on monday morning. Following bonnie++ command has been used: $ ./bonnieM.sh . 2G 10 ubuntu-10.04_cold bonnieM.sh is a stupid loop script ("-x" option did not exist in previous versions of bonnie...). It is attached as well. As you can see, results are just terrible... (1MBps in write) - bonnie_restartedTuesday_03.txt (and .html) displays results after a restart on tuesday. Following bonnie++ command has been used: $ ./bonnieM.sh . 2G 10 ubuntu-10.04_restart I also attached my fstab, which is mounting my external hdd at startup (ext3 format). I attached the dmesg after the restart on tuesday. I have not save the dmesg on monday cold start :-(, but can do it if need be.
