Extension of time was announced today for Ecuador study abroad to the GALAPAGOS ISLANDS and AMAZON RAINFOREST. Applications are DUE MARCH 12. Galapagos Islands and Amazon Rainforest Environment, Society, and Culture of Ecuador July 27 – August 15, 2010 Eastern Illinois University invites undergraduate and graduate students, honors students, teachers, friends and adult family to experience the land and people of the Galapagos Islands, Andes Mountains, and Amazon rainforest July 27 through Aug. 15, 2010. Geography, earth science, culture and history are part of this four-credit course titled “Environment, Society and Culture of Ecuador.” Program fee includes first rate lodging, four international and in-country airfares, meals, boat and ground transportation, estimated cost $6,600 plus tuition. Out of state students welcome and pay in-state tuition in the summer.
