The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in city and regional planning, economics, etc. and some experience with economic impact modeling. "The Cluster Analyst will work on economic development oriented applied research projects and conduct research in conjunction with the supervisor, other faculty and professional staff, graduate students and undergraduate students at the Voinovich School. Position duties include performing industry cluster analysis, conducting economic impact analysis utilizing IMPLAN software, compiling and analyzing publicly available economic and demographic data using common economic development techniques including but not limited to calculation of location quotients, shift-share analysis, retail pull factors, and economic forecasting and writing applied research reports.
