2017 Applied Geography Conference Call for Papers Dear Applied Geographers: (Please feel free to distribute this Call for Papers to other lists or colleagues/students.) 2017 marks the 40th annual gathering of applied geographers at the annual conferences. The Board of Directors of the annual Applied Geography Conferences sincerely invite you to present your work at the 2017 Applied Geography Conference. As in the past 39 annual gatherings, you will meet academics and practitioners of geography concepts, methods, and theories to exchange experiences and plans for your research or works at this conference. The conference's new website is http://www.appgeogconf.org. The 2017 Applied Geography Conference will consist of two events. Participants to AGC 2017 can choose to attend one (or both) of the following events: - 11/10/2017 Pre-conference A one-day event at Kent State University to allow in-depth discussion on research and applications of geographic concepts, theories, and analytics. - 11/13 ~ 11/17/2017 Conference A four-night, five-day conference on a Bahama Cruise that is sure to keep all attendees interested in the conference and enjoy each other’s company. To participate, please send your abstracts to Jay Lee at [email protected]. In addition, you are also invited to contribute your research papers or application papers to the conference journal, *Papers in Applied Geography*. Through double-blind reviews, your manuscripts may be published on this journal, which has enjoyed subscriptions by over 30 university libraries and several hundred individual subscriptions.
