I'm talking about both.  You cannot separate the acting from the writing 
because the actor has to portray the role he is given.  There are distinct 
differences between the portrayals.  Kevin doesn't display fear when he's 
playing Hercules.  He displays it when he playing Kull.  Kevin doesn't 
display doubt when he's playing Hercules.  He displays it when he's playing 
Dylan Hunt.

There are innumerable differences between Kevin's portrayals but the 
easiest way to document them is to point out the differences between the 
characters.  It's not just a matter of the script saying that Kull runs 
away from his enemies or cracks one-liners.  Kevin Sorbo has to do the 
running, he has to crack the one-liners.
