I'm going to be there (I guess I better, since I'm a panelist for one 
of the presentations)-- and how's this for a deal!!!!   I talked my 
college into funding! a good chunk of the freight (since I'm a 
panelist for one of the presentations -- "literary" connection and 
all).  Sometimes academics get a break.

This -- and the gas money I won't spend because I'm teaching 
internet-delivered classes this summer -- helps to make up for having 
to put up with the grueling three contact days a week through all 38 
weeks of the regular school.

There's no better job in the world actually -- unless you're 
interested in accumulating money or something like that.
