You are right, yes.
But I think there often are patches sent to the Mailinglist you don't hear
about for a long time and at least seem to have been lost. Dirk is one of
those who asks for them from time to time.

IMHO there should be a weekly 'Status Posting' telling which patches there
are, which patches you should apply for what purpose and which kernel and
finally what kernel you should use.

That would really cut down on list traffic and thereby save time of people
who are more needed for programming and debugging than answering the same
questions all over the time.
