As far as I remember, 2.4.3 has both reiserfs and not reiserfs problems which could
cause filesystem corruptions. I am not sure about non-reiserfs problems. Reiserfs
had problems which could cause file tail (last file_size % blocksize bytes of files
smaller than 16k) corruption. I could be wrong, though.
