Hi, I am seeing a weird problem and something in the back of my mind seems to remember seeing something similar being discussed here :-) Google finds has a lot of hits, but they all seem to date back quite a while.
Situation: - NFS Server with 2.4.18-pre8+tronds-latest-patch-set exporting a ReiserFS sitting on a software RAID1. - IRIX 6.5.14m client. We are seeing seemingly random "stale NFS handle" errors when trying to create or delete files from the client side. Also, reading files sometimes results in "is a directory" messages for stuff that definitely isn't. Mount options are: pclin9:/net/pclin9/fs1 on /net/pclin9/fs1 type nfs (vers=2,hard,intr,bg,rw,dev=140006) Also happens with "vers=3". Was first observed with 2.4.7-ac9. Apparently no problem when accessing from a Linux NFS client. Any hints, anything I can do to help? Which of TFP did I miss ? ( P as in Patches, F as in Fine :-) Martin -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Martin Knoblauch | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] TeraPort GmbH | Phone: +49-89-510857-309 C+ITS | Fax: +49-89-510857-111 http://www.teraport.de | Mobile: +49-170-4904759
