Hi, Apart from this 'patch2' containing the ser file and 'patch1', this code will not work as the line variable will be the list:
line = ['REMARK', 'SeriesTab', 'Input:', '../peaks.dat', 'Output:', '../peaks_0.ser'] Instead you could could check line[0] for the first element and line[1] for the second.
