Hey,

sorry for the late and probably controversial request, but I only noticed
the issue today when preparing for the 3.15.91 release:

I would like to remove the systemMonitor extension from the module[0].

The extension is supposed to visualize CPU/memory usage stats in the
message tray, which very obviously fails after the tray has been removed in
3.15.90.

It would certainly be possible for someone interested to come up with a new
UI, but that's unlikely to be me, and I do think that removing it is the
best option:
The gnome-shell-extensions repository was originally created to provide a
place for extensions that were shared on the mailing list or bugzilla. It's
stuff that should really be on extensions.gnome.org, but predates the site
- after the site was created, the repository grew rather quiet: there were
no additions between 3.1.4 and the creation of classic-mode around 3.8, and
development of the original collection of extensions has been limited to
keeping up with API changes in gnome-shell. However there have been a
couple of removals when shell changes would have required major rework of
an extension, and nobody stepped up to do the job - for instance the
alternate-status extension was dropped when the 3.10 introduced the
combined system menu. In my opinion that precedent applies perfectly to the
systemMonitor extension ...
