There is a bug in kdelibs so that no all plugins appear in Kate: - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=275548 - https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/101610/ It's no critical show-stopper, but it certainly would be good to have it fixed rather sooner than later!
