I'm 'guilty' of this myself. But it's either that or have no KDE involvement at all so I don't end up feeling too bad about it. ;) But it is certainly true that it makes it difficult to do an "all-hands call" that are directed at certain large subsets of the developer pool, it's very much an all-or-nothing affair, with either kde-cvs-announce or the various mailing lists which have to be assumed to be under heavy filtering.
