It's highly inusual to change dependencies in the middle of a release. But if that bug is high impact and given that we already require libcanberra in other software so folks possibly already have it available i don't think it's a terrible change. Cheers, Albert P.S: Other thing to ask is whether libcanberra not having had a release in 12 years makes it a good depencency to have, but that's for another day.
