Rather surprisingly, a Michigan federal district judge has found standing and a 
sufficient case on the merits to refuse to dismiss a taxpayer's Establishment 
Clause challenge to the federal bailout of AIG insurance company. The claim is 
based on AIG's activities in the sale of Sharia-complaint financial products.
