Folks: The list software is configured to block posts that are longer than 40 Kbytes, and I prefer to keep that block, since it helps avoid overflowing users' mailboxes. Almost always, the long posts are ones that just automatically quote lots of earlier posts in the thread. If you get a message saying that your post is too long, just please edit the post to get rid of most of the quoted posts, and resubmit it; that should fix the problem. Thanks,
