Do you know that the Logos institute has a project of recording the Crum
Dictionary on CD. I believe that having the Crum Dictionary on CD is very
important for doing searches for words. In the same manner that one of the
members
was looking for the word Duck in Coptic but could not find. With Crum
dictionary on CD, it is possible to run searches for the words that the person
is
searching for.

The point I am trying to state is that there are tools that are needed to
pave the way for the revival of the Egyptian ( I like to say Egyptian)
language.
All the Dictionaries related to the Coptic language is in the order of
Coptic-English for example but you will not find a Dictionary from English to
Coptic. For a person who is trying to learn the language, it is important that
a
such Dictionary exists. We need also to develop the language to reflect the
era which we live in. The Coptic language died before the recent advancement
in science and society. Therefore a lot of modern terms need to be extracted
from our language, how can we go about these problems???

Before we need support whether financial or otherwise, there must be some
studies made to envision the best ways and methods to revive this language.

I believe that the determination of our people to revive this language is
more important than rich people donating their money. When we have the will and

persistence, we will find the ways to do it no matter what obstacles we find
in our way.
