I understand that. I guess you thought I meant the prepositions should be 
*permanently* removed. (I did write "optionally omit" but not in the subject; 
sorry for the confusion.)

That would be useful (perhaps %-a). Again, these are the relevant sequences as 
it appears to me:

        %[2|3] - omit "at"
        %[a|c|e|f|g|h|i|j|k|l|u|v] - omit "on"

(I don't think it's necessary to mess with %b.)
