In remind(1) man page, it says:

"If you supply a date on the command line, it must consist of day
month year, where day is the day of the month, month is at least the
first three letters of the English name of the month, and year is a
year (all 4 digits) from 1990 to about 2075. You can leave out the
day, which then defaults to 1."

I've been trying various forms of this with no luck. What is the
*specific* format for giving the date??

Variously, I've tried:

 9119 remind -q .remind '11 August 2013'
 9124 remind -q .remind '11 Aug 2013'
 9126 remind -q .remind '11-Aug-2013'
 9129 remind -q .remind '11/Aug/2013'
 9130 remind -q .remind '11 AUGUST 2013'
 9131 remind -q .remind '11 august 2013'

I don't know what to try next....
