That probably belongs on the Web site rather than in a README. The .sig
file is a GnuPG signature to verify the integrity of the archive. You
use it like this:
gpg --verify remind-04.02.03.tar.gz.sig
Of course, you will need my public key in your GnuPG keyring, which you
should be able to download from most PGP servers, or directly from
https://dianne.skoll.ca/key.php
