Since people are talking about tkremind, I thought I'd give it a whirl.
It looks great, but I'm seeing two issues (that I'm sure are my fault for
missing something)
1.
I get this message:
unknown option "-underlinefg"
unknown option "-underlinefg"
while executing
"$w tag configure $tag -underline 1 -underlinefg $c"
(procedure "EditableEnter" line 16)
invoked from within
"EditableEnter .cal.t12"
(command bound to event)
when I try to mouse over (and thus underline) these two specific events:
rem 1 sep 2004 *14 SPECIAL COLOR 0 128 0 mich payday
rem 5 nov 2021 *14 SPECIAL COLOR 0 128 0 saic payday
2.
I have this in my .reminders file:
REM [moondate(0)] SPECIAL MOON 0 -1 -1 New Moon
REM [moondate(1)] SPECIAL MOON 1 -1 -1 1st Quarter
REM [moondate(2)] SPECIAL MOON 2 -1 -1 Full Moon
REM [moondate(3)] SPECIAL MOON 3 -1 -1 3rd Quarter
But in TKRemind, I only get the icon and the first word (for example,
"O Full"). I'll try to attach a screenshot.
