Thanks for this encouragement. I tried to do this two years ago, but
couldn't get remind-caldav (https://github.com/jspricke/remind-caldav)
working. Not sure why, but I tried it a couple days ago, and didn't have
any problems with it. So, now I *can* synchronize back and forth.
However, I'm suck at this point. *How* should I do it?
- I'm not sure, without doing some painful testing, if it is safe to sync
my main remind file both ways. Seems dangerous. Does anyone have a
workflow they could share?
- I *think* that, if I sync both directions, it will not duplicate events.
Can someone confirm?
- I use multiple methods to compartmentalize my reminders. I have some
that show up in Wyrd, and not in print calendars, and vice-versa. I
even have some reminders that are notified to my desktop via DBUS and
festival TTS, but not all of them. How can I sync some of my reminders
but not others. I assume I can have an imported remind file for just
those reminders. Does this make sense? Any issues you can see with
this approach?
- I also have a complicated organization of my remind file, with multiple
included files, personal functions, and variables. I noticed that
dav2rem creates a reverse-chronological ordered file. If I sync both
ways, will dav2rem respect this, or will it rewrite everything?
