rem2ps is pretty old and it doesn't handle UTF-8. If the Scandinavian characters are available in ISO-8859-1 encoding, you might be able to get them to print correctly with the "-i" option of rem2ps (assuming your source file is encoded in ISO-8859-1.) Actually... Remind as a whole does not handle internationalization or UTF-8 well at all. :( It really needs fixing.
