Ken, You can buy an IFR-1200S for less than $5,000 these days, and it is a very capable service monitor. The "S" includes the spectrum analyzer as standard, but you definitely want the tracking generator option. The high-stability time base is another desirable option. My 1200S has all the options, and I have no reason to change to a different brand or model.
