Yeah, that smell of the new catalog! Came in a brown wrapper. Still have a few of the old ones, can't seem to be able to throw them away.
I remember when we found out that Lafayette's cost code was "PHARMOCIST" then we knew just how low to pay for an item. Rode my bike the 5 miles to the store in Livonia Michigan three times in one day after the right parts. We only have one parts store in the entire Detroit area that I know of, The Electronic Connection in Westland. Their prices are at least three times what I can buy them for on the internet. They won't be long. Mostly sell CB's and radar detectors to truckers. There are Newark and RS Electronics outlets but they cater to the automotive companies. Newark stocks very little here due to warehouse taxing.
