Intriguing....makes me think of a jpole but the dimensions are not right. I also thought of the unity ground plane antennas that are folded on the vertical element as well. (dc grounded) The construction looks like that of cushcraft or hy-gain...but then I am but a relative newbie and pale in the experience most of this group.
