I have been having a heck of a time getting my Q202G to tune to 146.xxx. It was originally set up for 163.xxx and, of course, the plunger rods were cut off to fit a cabinet. After lengthening the rods, I still couldn't get a proper notch. Asking around, I was told that I would have to change out the interconnecting cables between the cans and put in ones that were the right length electrically. I have some pretty rudimentary test equipment to tune this thing up so I'm wondering now if I should go ahead and replace the cables or simply try to get the tuning as accurate as possible with the equipment I have and leave the cables alone. What are the group's thoughts on this?
