Before Phelps Dodge, was known as Communications Products Company.
The model numbers were the same back then too - unlike what I have
noticed as of late with Sinclair.

At one time, you could call the local Communications Products
Company field sales office and give them the serial number of an
antenna - they kept the as-built data in their files and would give
it to you when you needed it.

I believe Phelps Dodge kept up the information. I don't know about
 now.
