I only have a small bit of knowledge on the Motorola radios, but what
I can remember is there are ovens or something in them, I don't know
much more than that, I'm going back about 15 yrs ago when I worked on
radios. So I guess my question was, like my old regency, I bought
xtals for it, they were what I call standard size, like that in a
scanner. Is the micor about the setup. I don't have the radio in my
possesion, I was asked if it could be done, and if I would be willing
to do it. Like most people, I like a challenge. Thanks for the help.

Mathew
