[Repeater-Builder] rg142 test cables

hi, to all group can anyone tell me which could be the best measure for my group of cables for adjusting vhf and uhf repeater duplexers in my laboratory? i use rg142/u cable, but i would like to know the best measure for them.(unique long maibe) actualy i have a mix of long and short cables so, any experience welcome. thanks.
